Greetings and thank you for visiting my site! I am not currently offering massage therapy or Zero Balancing due to some back to back injuries with my hand as well as a life transition. I will let you know where life leads! I hope you all are well and happy.
Warm regards,
Martha Colby
What I Offer:
Zero Balancing: I highly recommend Zero Balancing (ZB). I had an opportunity of introducing ZB to a massage therapist who has been in practice for over 30 years. She wanted to try it, although it hadn't been a modality that sounded especially interesting to her. At the end of our session, she sat up and smiled and said "I feel the most deeply relaxed I have ever felt." ZB is great for all joint issues, emotional and spiritual issues, and I have found amazing results in freeing up super tight shoulders and necks,as well as fully relieving pain in ankles and low back. It is a fully clothed modality - you should wear comfortable clothing that is not binding (blue jeans are not ideal).
Therapeutic Massage: If you are suffering from pain in a particular region, you might want to have a standard full body or partial body massage. In my practice, I use a lot of trigger point therapy (finding little spots of congestion within a muscle that can allow the release of muscular tension in a larger area), fascial unwinding, shiatsu techniques, accupressure, swedish massage, passive stretching -- whatever seems needed to release. Standard massage uses lotion on skin and careful draping to provide privacy for the client. Most people choose to disrobe fully or to underwear. You will be covered at all times.
